Ted Cruz Once Again Mentions Ayn Rand on the Floor of the Senate

For the Third time, and now for the first time as a Presidential candidate, Ted Cruz mentions Ayn Rand and Atlas Shrugged during a speech on the floor of the Senate, from earlier today. I recommend listening to his entire speech here. It's long, but it's a great dismantling of what he calls "The Washington Cartel". I was able to isolate the 22 seconds of his mention of Ayn Rand and put it on Soundcloud, which you can listen to below.

"The Infidel is the Only Truly Relevant Post-9/11 Comic."

Daniel Greenfield, of the Sultan Knish blog, wrote a review of my series The Infidel (focusing on my latest issue), and to say it's the kind of recognition I would like to get for my work is an understatement. If you haven't yet gotten my Pigman series, The Infidel, you can get your digital copies on Amazon Kindle and on ComiXology.

The Iron Lady

On Margaret Thatcher's birthday, here's my drawing of The Iron Lady.

Fox News, via John Stossel, Supports Free Speech

On the left is my May 15 illustration, after it was clear that Fox News would Not show my winning Mohammad cartoon, even though they reported on it very often after the Garland attack. On the right is my acknowledgement and thanks that Fox News allowed John Stossel to show the media how it's done. If you're going to report on a Mohammad cartoon, repeatedly, then you have to Show the Mohammad cartoon, or else you've submitted to terrorism. John Stossel refused to submit, and Fox News allowed it to air. Bravo.

My Mohammad Cartoon Was Shown on Stossel's Special on Fox News!

UPDATE: Here's the video.

I couldn't watch John Stossel's Free Speech special on Fox News (got rid of cable) but I'm told a bit of my interview with Stossel was shown, along with my winning Mohammad Cartoon! I'm Ecstatic about that, as it has become The Cartoon That Must Not Be Shown, and Fox News is the Only major news outlet that has shown it. Kudos to John Stossel & Fox News. I wanted it to be shown, one of his producers told me they would show it, but until they do, you just don't know, considering the fact that Free Speech is under siege in America today. I am Very Happy, and I look forward to seeing the special, titled "Censored in America", which includes Mark Steyn, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and more.

UPDATE: I ended up watching the special and I'm proud to have been part of it. Big Time kudos to Stossel and Fox for showing my Mohammad cartoon. In the PC climate we're in today, this is Huge, and I really appreciate it.

P.S. Lou Dobbs showed a billboard with my Mohammad cartoon on his Fox Business show a few months ago.

Reminder: I'm on Stossel's "Censored in America" Special on Fox News

Tomorrow night, Saturday, October 10, 2015, on Fox News, 8pm eastern time. Mark Steyn and Ayaan Hirsi Ali also take part in the special, so it should be really good. More info here.

I Will Be On Stossel's Free Speech Special on FOX News Sat. 8pm EST

I was told by John Stossel's producer that I will appear at the beginning of the show, but with Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Mark Steyn also appearing on the show, you'll want to watch the entire special. I was told that my winning Mohammad cartoon will be shown. We'll see. From Stossel's FOX Business blog:

"America is the first country to say to its people: all of you have a right to speak. But today speech is under siege.

ISLAM: Americans fear speaking about Islam - and with good reason. Ten cartoonists were recently murdered for drawing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. Other critics have been shot, firebombed, and hacked to death. I interview people brave enough to speak out, like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who is on an Al Qaeda "Wanted Dead or Alive" hit list, and Bosch Fawstin, who won the "Draw Mohammad" cartoon event in Garland, Texas that was attacked by Islamic gunmen. They argue that if Americans want freedom, everyone must refuse to be censored by violent extremists." Read the rest here

The Dark Pig Returns

"An artistic and storytelling triumph." -that guy from Bleeding Cool.com, about my 3rd Pigman comic book, The Infidel #3

The rest of his review was superfluous :) The title of his review was "The Dark Pigman Returns -The Most Right Wing Comic Book On The Planet?", which if you don't know, was alluding to Frank Miller's seminal Batman comic book series, The Dark Knight Returns, which I pay an homage to on the left. The reviewer wished there was “more nuance” and “less Randian individualism” in my work, not realizing that he’s describing most comics today, and why mine is different. Then the reviewer desperately attempts to counter the fact that Pigman is the only anti-jihad comic book out there by citing Charlie Hebdo, as if they publish anti-Jihad, anti-Islam comic book stories and not simply single Mohammad cartoons, which they don't even do anymore. And finally, an interesting, or revealing, feature of his review was that he did not mention me by name, which happens more and more these days, making me...
